Best Yaoyao Build for 2026

Yaoyao's value is compression: she is simultaneously the Dendro applier and the healer, which lets a Dendro team run one fewer support. The price is that her best healing is locked behind field time. Her skill (Raphanus Sky Cluster, 15s cooldown) summons Yuegui: Throwing Mode, which lobs White Jade Radishes that explode for Dendro damage and heal based on her Max HP. The targeting logic matters more than most players realize: if every nearby character is above 70% HP, the radish is thrown at an enemy, so she applies Dendro; if anyone drops to 70% or below, it goes to whoever has the lowest HP percentage instead. A healthy team gets Dendro application and a damaged team gets healing, and you cannot have both at once. Up to two Yuegui can be active at a time. Her burst (Moonjade Descent, 80 energy, 20s cooldown) deals AoE Dendro damage and enters Adeptal Legacy, during which radishes heal the entire party, their damage counts as Burst damage, up to three additional Yuegui are summoned, and she gains movement speed and Dendro RES. The catch is that the state is short and ends the moment she leaves the field, so it functions as an on-field healing window rather than a passive aura. Her first ascension passive makes her throw extra radishes while sprinting, jumping or running during it, and her fourth ascension passive adds a small regeneration-over-time effect after each explosion. Healing scales with Max HP, so build HP% with a Healing Bonus circlet, plus enough ER to fund an 80-cost burst - although most of her value sits in her skill, so ER should not come at the cost of HP. Black Tassel gives the most HP, Favonius Lance solves her energy and the party's, and Staff of Homa is a fine stat stick. Deepwood Memories is her best set because she is usually the only Dendro unit and can carry the shred; Tenacity of the Millelith and Instructor are alternatives. She fits Nilou Bloom, Quicken and Spread cores with Alhaitham, Nahida or Tighnari, and Aggravate teams with Keqing or Clorinde. Where she struggles: Baizhu does her job better in almost every measurable way - his healing is entirely off-field, he brings a refreshing shield for interruption resistance, and he buffs Dendro reaction damage. Yaoyao gives up all three and trades them for being a 4-star who consolidates Dendro and healing into one slot. Her burst healing requires her to stand on field for several seconds, which is a real DPS loss in tight rotations, her skill healing arrives in slow radish bounces that cannot answer burst damage, and outside of Deepwood she brings no buffs at all.
