Kazuha Build Guide

Kazuha provides massive elemental damage bonuses based on his EM and can double-swirl for big damage. Best Anemo support.

Why This Build Works

A4 converts EM to Elemental DMG Bonus (0.04% per EM). At 1000 EM: 40% Elemental DMG + VV 40% RES shred = two independent damage amps that stack multiplicatively.

Key Stat Threshold

800-1000 EM optimal. Beyond 1000, diminishing returns.

Current Meta Status

S-tier. Value increases with high-investment EM builds.

Gameplay Strategy

Kazuha functions best as a Anemo Support. The key to mastering this character is understanding how their kit interacts with the current abyss meta. Below are the critical gameplay patterns you need to know.

Rotation Tips

E (Skill) → plunge → Q (Burst) → swap

Team Synergy

Elemental DMG buffer & crowd control — shreds RES by 40% with VV. In practice, this means pairing them with characters that complement their strengths and cover their weaknesses.

Build Comparison: Entry vs Endgame

Entry Level Build
Iron Sting (craftable) / Xiphos' Moonlight

Focus on main stat correctness. Set bonuses matter less than having correct main stats.

Endgame Build
Freedom-Sworn

Optimize substats for perfect ratio. Sacrifice HP/DEF for more offensive stats.

Summary: Is Kazuha Worth Building?

Kazuha provides massive elemental damage bonuses based on his EM and can double-swirl for big damage. Best Anemo support. With the right investment, Kazuha performs at a 9.5/10 — irreplaceable in elemental teams. level in current content.

When NOT to use this character

CC pull weak against heavy enemies and bosses. EM-to-DMG conversion has diminishing returns above 1000 EM. Against bosses, his CC is wasted.

Community Controversy

Kazuha vs Sucrose debate continues. C6 Sucrose with TTDS can match or exceed his buffs in reaction teams. Is he worth 180 wishes over a free 4-star?

In-Depth Guide

Kazuha provides two independent damage amplification mechanics that stack multiplicatively: Viridescent Venerer 4pc (40% RES reduction to swirled element) and his A4 passive (0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus per EM point). At 1000 EM, thats 40% Elemental DMG Bonus. Together, these provide roughly a 60-70% total damage increase for the team. His double-swirl mechanic is what separates good Kazuha players from great ones. By applying an element to himself (via Bennett Q, for example), Kazuha can absorb a different element with his burst, swirling both elements and providing VV shred for both. This is critical in reaction teams like International (Childe + Xiangling), where both Hydro and Pyro need shredding. Building Kazuha is simple: Elemental Mastery in every slot. EM/EM/EM with EM substats. Freedom-Sworn is his best weapon for the team ATK buff, but Iron Sting (craftable) works fine. The EM target is 800-1000. Beyond 1000, the conversion rate diminishes. The Sucrose debate is worth understanding. C6 Sucrose with Thrilling Tales can match or exceed Kazuhas buff contribution in reaction-heavy teams (especially Vaporize and Melt). Kazuha wins in mono-element teams and freeze teams where consistent double-swirl isnt necessary. Where he underperforms: Kazuha struggles against bosses that cant be pulled by his skill. His CC is wasted against heavy enemies. In those scenarios, his value comes purely from his damage buffs, which are still strong but relatively less impactful.
