Best Ifa Build for 2026

Ifa is an Anemo healer whose buff is unusually narrow: he converts the party's Nightsoul points into a bonus to Swirl and Electro-Charged damage, and he heals with shots that scale off Elemental Mastery. He is not a general-purpose Jean replacement - he is a specialist for Electro-Charged cores, and outside them most of his kit does nothing. His skill (Airborne Disease Prevention) grants 80 Nightsoul points and puts him into a hovering state with Cacucu, during which his normal attacks become Tonicshots that heal the whole party and deal Anemo damage. The healing scales with Elemental Mastery, which is why every artifact main stat goes to EM. The important passive is Field Medic's Vision: while his Nightsoul's Blessing is active, he gains one stack of Rescue Essentials for every Nightsoul point held anywhere in the party, and those stacks raise the Swirl and Electro-Charged damage of nearby party members. This is the part most players miss - Natlan teammates (Ororon, Mavuika, Citlali, Xilonen) directly increase his buff, while a party with no Natlan units leaves him at his own baseline. His second passive adds a chunk of EM whenever a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst. His burst (Compound Sedation Field) throws a sedative that detonates into a wind current that pulls enemies and objects inward, giving him genuine if modest grouping. If it strikes an enemy already affected by Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Electro, it applies a Sedation Mark that detonates for AoE damage of that element. Build him full EM on all three main stats, level him to 90 because reaction damage scales hard with character level, and give him an EM catalyst - Sunny Morning Sleep-In, A Thousand Floating Dreams or Mappa Mare. Viridescent Venerer is the default set since he is on-field triggering Swirls himself; Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City is the alternative in Natlan cores. His energy needs are moderate, typically 140-170%, because most of his value sits in his skill. His best teams are Electro-Charged shells: Ororon or Fischl for off-field Electro, a Hydro applier such as Furina, Yelan, Xingqiu or Ayato, and an on-field driver. Ororon is the standout partner because he is Natlan-aligned, applies Electro off-field, and feeds Rescue Essentials. Where he struggles: his healing arrives one slow projectile at a time and only while he is on-field, so every second he spends healing is a second your carry is not dealing damage. His Rescue Essentials buff applies to Swirl and Electro-Charged only, so in Freeze, Melt, Aggravate or mono-element teams he is a weak healer with a mediocre pull. He also has almost no personal damage, and his burst grouping is far weaker than Kazuha's or Venti's.
