Why This Build Works

Dori's Burst (Alcazarzaray's Exactitude, 80 energy) summons a Jinni that heals a nearby ally off her Max HP AND regenerates their Energy via a tether, the only character who directly refills another's Energy. A4 (Compound Interest) restores 5 energy per 100% ER on Skill (up to 15 at 300%).

Key Stat Threshold

ER 250-300% (her passive rewards ER linearly, no cap); HP% goblet/circlet since heal scales off Max HP; Favonius Greatsword for particles; 200%+ ER minimum. Level Burst > Skill.

Current Meta Status

Tier B (5.x/6.x): a universal energy-battery healer, great for energy-hungry carries (Eula, Mono Electro), but single-target heal/battery and clunky tether. Outclassed by Bennett/Kokomi for teamwide value; niche in Raiden-less teams.

Entry vs Endgame Build

Entry Level Build
Favonius Greatsword

Focus on main stat correctness. Set bonuses matter less than having correct main stats.

Endgame Build
Skyward Pride

Optimize substats for perfect ratio. Sacrifice HP/DEF for more offensive stats.

Summary: Is Dori Worth Building?

Dori heals and generates energy for her teammates, acting as an Electro battery support. With the right investment, Dori performs at a 5/10 level in current content.

When NOT to use this character

Jinni tethers only one nearby target (no teamwide heal); low particle gen; clunky positioning; no multi-target healing. Outclassed by Bennett (ATK + burst heal) and Kokomi (AoE heal) for general use.

Community Controversy

Noblesse/Emblem (ER, team ATK) vs Ocean-Hued Clam/Thundering Fury C6 on-field; and Dori vs Bennett/Kuki as the sustain; her 300% ER sweet spot vs just-enough ER.

In-Depth Guide

Dori's niche is unique and narrower than it sounds: her burst is the only ability in the game that heals an ally and refunds them energy at the same time. If your team does not need both from the same slot, you are usually better off with a different Electro unit. Her burst (Alcazarzaray's Exactitude, 80 energy, 20s cooldown, 12s duration) summons the Jinni, which connects to one nearby character. That character continuously regenerates HP scaled off Dori's Max HP, continuously regenerates Energy, and is affected by Electro, while the connector between the lamp and the character zaps any opponent it touches. Only one Jinni can exist at a time, so everything she offers goes to a single unit. Her passives are where her build gets interesting. Compound Interest refunds her own energy when her skill hits - 5 Energy for every 100% Energy Recharge she has, capped per cast - which means ER investment on Dori pays for itself twice, once by filling her burst and once through the refund. Her other passive shaves a second off her skill cooldown every few seconds whenever the connected character triggers an Electro reaction, so she works best next to a carry that is constantly reacting. Build ER first: an ER Sands plus an ER weapon, generally landing somewhere in the 180-220% range unless she has a battery. After that, HP% and Healing Bonus, since her healing scales with Max HP. Noblesse Oblige is the default set, Ocean-Hued Clam turns her heavy healing into extra damage, and Tenacity of the Millelith works because her skill does hit opponents. Skyward Pride is listed for its ER substat, but Favonius Greatsword and Sacrificial Greatsword are usually worth more to the team, and Sacrificial in particular doubles her particle generation and her energy refund. She fits best next to a single energy-hungry on-field carry that also wants sustain - Physical teams such as Eula, where Superconduct and the energy refund both matter, or as a budget source of Electro resonance and healing in one slot. Where she struggles: her healing is single-target, so she cannot drive Furina or answer off-field chip damage, and Kuki Shinobu does the same job better in almost every team - off-field Electro application, party healing from her skill, and Hyperbloom triggering. Dori's burst costs 80 energy with no particle generation while it is active, the Electro she applies to the connected character can disrupt auras in Freeze or Quicken teams, and her own damage is negligible.
